I have a long time acquaintance (if you can call 6 years a 'long time') who is conducting interviews to include in a documentary he is currently doing pre-production on called Service.
Basically it focuses on men who service Alpha & Dom males. You know: ME!
Christian is a filmmaker by profession and passion. He was possibly the first (or one of the first) to stumble upon and read this blog. He was definitely the first person I had blogrolled. Don't go looking for that link now - he took down his blog years ago. I took down the link years ago.
We have kept in touch over all this time and he knows me pretty well, especially for the amount of time (or lack of) we have actually conversed. His knowledge of me is fairly intuitive, but it's not like I don't lay a lot of that shit out there for all to get.
Over the years, he has developed some projects with me in mind. I am thrilled with this idea and we continue to discuss how to execute up to three of these films.
Service is one of them, though I wasn't really part of the planning in the slightest - and I can't say for sure if he had me in the back of his mind when he started to flesh it out - as it were.
However, Christian did reach out to me to ask if I would participate. I am sure there wasn't two seconds of hesitation when I agreed. He knew I would.
Yes, it's possible that if I don't get sent to the editing room floor, my voice and/or my face will be out there for those of you to see. How or if I'm identified has not been established and Christian knows that I give him that control. Of course he knows it. Look at what the subject is about.
We've talked often over the last week about this and continue to do so. In his own controlled style, I think he is excited about my participation - but his style and mine are like night and day.
He is actually more intrigued with utilizing me for the other two projects. One is more of a true acting gig, which is not something I've ever done. The other is way more adult oriented and more of what I consider an original idea - and it is the one that has been in the development stage the longest.
Interviewing for Service is a no-brainer. A few hours of my time wherever we can meet up to do that deed. The others are a bit more labor and time intensive. How to schedule that between us is to be worked out.
Am I a little worried about the exposure it gets me? Well, yeah.
Will it stop me? Nah.
I'm totally jazzed to do any of these project - all of them if we can make it happen.
That all being said - I did reference the Service website and project, because Christian is looking for additional people to be part of the movie. Read through the site and his contact information is included in there if you feel like participating.
The man can smell a fake a mile away, so be prepared, be real.
