GASMM

iBi has a great idea for an event: gasmm: the first annual gay adult social media meet-up.

Or as I like to call it: Porn Fan Fair.

The idea is to have popular adult bloggers (me!); Tweeters (kind of me); Facebook with thousands of friends (not me); Porn Stars (not me........yet!); and vendors join in a few days of networking, information sharing - and probably body fluid sharing too - though I'm not 100% sure that will be a sanctioned event.

The plan is to do this in what looks to be February 2011, so there is plenty of time to plan and make travel arrangements.

My plan IS to be there. It will be great, yet a bit scary. I put myself out there on my blog, but I haven't been that accessible to the reading public, let alone with face-time. But I'm open to this.

I look forward to meeting not only "fans", but some peers who do what I do and having some open discussions and maybe a round-table where a panel (which I am happy to be on) would take Q&A.

You think 2011 is a long ways off, but it really isn't. Not when you're doing event planning.
